Our family is saddened by this horribly tragic accident. We express our love to the Howard family and will keep you in our prayers.

The young man involved in this accident is also terribly affected. He is a returned missionary from Italy and was planning to be married in the temple in a few weeks.

God bless you all!

You never know from one moment to the next if you'll be here or not so always make sure your loved ones know how much you love them and trust that the Lord has a plan for your whole family. Take the opportunity to grow from this experience in time and remember that forgiveness is a huge key. I'm sorry for your loss and I pray that the surviving children will recover and be able to live full and happy lives.

There are no words to make anything better. As someone who deals with tragedy on a daily basis, being at this accident with your family was no exception. My thoughts and prayers are with Rachel and Caleb in their recovery and Ben in his difficult time of sorrow.

God Bless!

John DeVores (the oldest boy in the picture) recently married my niece Holly Box in Hurst. Ben Howard opened up his beautiful home to our family for the wedding. My heart is saddened and broken for his family.

God has reasons we don't always conceive but they were a spiritual family and I know they'll be reunited again one day.

Ben, John & Holly - Please know my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

God Bless you all!

Much Love, Tammy Halbritter

Ben, you and your family are in our prayers. We cannot imagine the agony that your heart must be feeling. Janine was always so nice to talk to. She was the most creative woman I knew. She got me excited about food storage! (and all the clever places to put it) Matthew was awesome. I remember teaching him piano; he would try so hard to make it look like he had practiced all week...but when he found a song that he liked to play he played it with everything he had, and even enjoyed it. Ester was such a quick learner. She would play a song through on the piano once and would almost have it perfect, and then if it wasn't perfect she would work on it till it was. I noticed the bond that she had with Caleb...I know they had their moments, but she really looked out for him.
Rachel, I am so glad you are still with us. I know your heart is just broken. Be strong and know that if you ever need anything, there are so many of us wanting to help you.
Caleb, be strong, I pray that the Lord will heal you fully.

We love you all and are praying that you will not just feel the great comfort from the Lord, but that you will also have the strength to make it through each day. Take it a day at a time, eventually you will be able to breathe without hurting so much. If there is anything you need, you know how to reach us.
All our love, Aaron, Amy, Tess and Ivy

Ben,
I can't not express here any words that will make this easier at this time. I know the love you had for Janine and your children. I know they are with Heavenly Father now I also know it is hard for you and the family. Prayers will not end for you and them. May God bless all of you with the strength to make it through this. We are here should you need anything.
Much love,

To all of the Howard Family,

We have come to love you through your brother/son, Evan, who is serving here in the Alabama Birmingham Mission and lived with us for 4 1/2 months. We just love Evan and know how much he loves his family. Our hearts and prayers go out to all of you. Please know that we will do all that we can to take care of Evan. We will let all of the ward members here in Madison, who have grown to love Evan, know what has happened, so that they can send him letters and cards expressing their love. All who we have told so far are just broken-hearted for him and for all of you. Our prayers will continue for you.

Love,
Brent, Nancy and Jim Law

Ben and family,

My heart and soul ache for you. I would love to put together this beautiful letter expressing how sorry I am for your loss, but it is difficult because I am sure I don't even have a shimmer of understanding. But what I do know is that you have a Big Big God to whom you may rest in, in whom has great big arms and is ultimatley in control. I know that you are resting in his peace. God has really laid your family on my heart and I pray for you often. Ben we spent many hours on the phone..I am Hailey I was engaged to Evan. Even though I never became part of your family, I have always carried a spot for you and your family in my heart.

With all my heart,
Hailey Aldous
